Boxers

I didn't really want Boxers . . . I didn't think they would be good dogs . . . I didn't think they were really all that cute . . . And then, this boxer came into our lives.

Jade . . . She is so stinking cute! She was just a baby back then when this picture was taken.
Jade, right after we got her, the boys took her out to the lake and made her swim. Based on her ears I don't think she really liked it much.

This is Jade now, she was outside last night "Helping" Tim put in the Swamp cooler. She is this beautiful copper color! and when people see her at the dog park they totally fall in love with her. (Just don't take her out with ALL her dogs, because she becomes Ubber protective of them, and starts fights.)
And here is the newest addition to the family, we have had him about 5 weeks, he has gone from 11 pounds to over 20, he doesn't potty in the house (much~ He's actually really good about it.) and now he sits when he is going to get a treat (just like the other dogs do)
Where Jade is more copper colored, Durbin is more blond.
But I think they look a lot alike.
He is a bit more serious than Jade, who is more like Tony's personality, happy go lucky. Durbin is more like Avery . . . there is a reason for everything~ kind of person.
This photo was taken last night. Jade was busy "helping" Tim and Durbin was busy taking sticks from the back yard and bringing them into the house to chew up- on my freshly steam cleaned carpets. (notice the thing hanging from his jowl . . . part of the stick) When it wasn't enough for him to play with sticks he went and found Tony's jammie pants and started dragging them around with him.
He is a strange little puppy!
Both of these dogs are some of the best I have ever had! I truly enjoy them! So much for me not liking boxers!
